• Ryan T. Okabe

  Founding Partner

  J.D., Loyola Law School, Los Angeles (Hobbs Trial Advocacy Program); B.A., Boston College

  Began his career with the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office, trying a wide range of criminal cases, then worked with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. Co-authors the California Loose-leaf Search and Seizure Handbook, a reference on California criminal law focused on Fourth Amendment issues. Licensed in California state and federal courts. Member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, South Bay Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Beverly Hills Bar Association, Asian Pacific American Bar Association, Japanese American Bar Association, and the Indigent Criminal Defense Panel.

• Mark J. Haushalter

  Founding Partner

  J.D. with honors in oral advocacy, University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law; B.A. Criminology & Law Studies, Marquette University

  Began his career as a misdemeanor and felony prosecutor before moving to criminal defense. Has tried a wide range of criminal cases, from DUI to child molestation and child pornography matters. Co-authors the California Loose-leaf Search and Seizure Handbook. Licensed in California and Illinois state and federal courts. Member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, South Bay Bar Association, and Los Angeles County Bar Association.
